EDOF IOL research

This study compares the image quality of three extended depth-of-focus (EDOF) intraocular lens models in monochromatic and polychromatic light. The results show that EDOF IOLs are more resistant to chromatic effects and provide better through-focus performance than monofocal IOLs, but differences in optical design and pupil dependency should be considered for optimal patient outcomes.
