Nuremberg, Germany 25th June 2022. The German Congress of Ophthalmic Surgeons (DOC) was the largest face-to-face meeting in three years with 5,400 delegates.
It was the most successful conference for the David J Apple Center for Vision Research from Heidelberg.
Four of the seven possible “Conference Best Paper Awards” went to Heidelberg researchers. Max Hammer won two prizes, as the first author on two on these four winners. A third winning prize was won by Rebecca Buhl and the fourth best Paper Award was won by Isabella Baur.
